johan, are you the psychic clone of fred?

Actually, if I'm looking for something, I'm thorough. And in my searching, I go further by pooling the info, and sharing it. If thats ok with you of course? :)

Oi! I haven't pulled you up on your obsessive list gathering for ages - even though you do it like you're expecting the rapture

Actually johan, any budding psychologist will tell you that people who make lists are anally retentive. This can only mean that I have retained my arse. If you have given yours away on the cheap, I suggest you start making lists as well. Good for keeping you nice and tight. Ahem.

I run with SDP-SLs because when going for a ride they do the job and if I just want to cruise down the shops/pub they are easy to do with civvies. (I know not ideal to run flats with fixed but hey, that's the way I roll.)

What about Speedplay Frogs, my pedal of choice?

Loads of float which is good for my oddly made knees.

Egg beaters are great fixed. Easy to get into and out of, never unclip unless you want them to and decent float as well. I can't recommend them though - I broke a pedal after a few weeks. Now waiting to see if the exchange pair try and kill me or not.

Time Atac > egg beaters and M520's

from experience. egg beaters unclip way to easy, and dont feel solid. Clipping into an atac is like putting a ski on.

I like Eggbeaters . You do need to keep your foot totally straight in them when skidding and hopping about, they make it harder to trackstand ,they break (i've been through 3 sets in 2 years) but they look nice , not like a stealth bomber on acid (ATAC)

it's all about Look pedals on the indoor velodromes..

not even sure you'd be allowed mtb pedals at some tracks..they don't like the idea of the things wrecking the wood if you deck it and slide down the boards......

FFS, it's a pedal!

I'd rather something that didn't break, frankly.

I only have had the steel original ones , the bit that fucked up is, the thread holding the bearing. I have had 1000's of miles on them and they still work but start clicking and it gets annoying.
