For Sale: Brand new Bianchi Pista 53" - London Fixed-gear and Single-speed

Just putting the feelers out for my mate before I bother taking photos and putting up an ad on here(he'd rather use eBay)

But he's getting rid of his BRAND NEW/6 weeks old(used 3 times, about 5miles!) 53" Bianchi Pista

He's added a fixed Surly 19t cog and some riser bars, aswell as a halflink chain and a black Gold Finger brake lever. He'll be chucking these in aswell as the original drop bars

He paid £425

He wants £400(not forgetting the added extras)

Thats 2 bikes in quick succession, that are slightly used, but being sold for nearly full price [a Charge Plug and this Fuji Pista]. I wonder what's going on. Mind you, selling a bike after only 5 miles on it does actually say a lot......about the owner.

Looks like there are some really persuasive sales people out there, who are able to sell people things that they don't actually want. Or of course, the following theories might be nearer to the mark..............

I'd like to take a look at the bike and try with intention to buy. Where is your friend based. I work in central Great Portland Street and live in Hammersmith but am able to travel to see the bike.

Thing that made me fart though is the kid had been looking for a while - obviously like rockin horseshit at the mo BUT he said that the new 2009 are £550! WTF!? It's exactly the same bike but with Vittoria Zaffiro's which IMO are worse than the Continentals they used to come with.
