Wanted: 650c wheel - London Fixed-gear and Single-speed

Hello,

I'm trying to track down a nice 650c front wheel for my lovely new low pro frame.

clincher rather than tub if possible

anyone got one?

I'm not looking to spend more than about £50 as I think I can build a nice brand new one for around that.

Sounds like a great deal, but I don't know if i'm ready to go brakelessTM just yet.

if you fancy doing a build I have a velocity silver deep V 650 20h and a 20H campag hub... Rim has been built up but never rode, hub has been built up and rode but runs fine.

Well you can use a brake even if the rim haven;t got a machined braking surface...

I always assumed that brakes would be more sluggish etc on a non machined rim?

Rakan how much would you want for them? I've built a couple of wheels before so reckon it's worth a punt (is the velocity machined for a brake?)

p.s. is this the same Rakan that I met at a couple Space Hijacker Meetings?
