I know of many similar roads/junctions by me.

One is actually labelled a cycle crossing, but I would not dare to go into the road like they did as I know the drivers would NOT stop.

to be fair we have it good here in blighty this could be any european country-though i was out riding in enfield today-seemed like they had never seen a cyczlist in their lives...
