When the fake looks as good as Haels it can be really difficult ;]

They don't all have those - a (comparatively) recent development...

Colnago pioneered the indiscriminate use of a logo on their products so it's pretty straightforward to spot a genuine one from the mid-1980s onwards as it will have the logo or brand name in places you'd not have considered putting a logo before. Expect to see them on the tops of the seatstays, around the bottom bracket shell, stamped across the bottom of the bottom bracket shell, in the lugs, in the fork crowns, etc.

They only ever do Italian threaded bottom bracket shells too.

This aint bad, if real??

I feel like I'm on my period and am hoping for a nice Horizontal drop out frame, probably not Colnago.

I appologise for my outbursts and misleading certain posters into thinking I actually knew what I wanted.

That frame has vertical rear dropouts so would be a pain in the arse to convert to fixed.

HaHa Excellent!

Now how can I get another business trip to Forli. Was there same time as you, when that little Italian Race was on. Stayed in same hotel as the Cinelli support team & dolly birds (small not very nice hotel for the commoners!). Was all work work work though and I didn't see any racing :(
