Looking for a new saddle... Japanese? - London Fixed-gear and Single-speed

ok.. i searched, every bloody saddle thread was about white saddles, or brooks.

so, i want a new saddle, ive got the stock Fuji one at the moment, and its crap.

im in Japan, so something japanese would make a nice addition i think.

i know about the kashimax golds, anything else? and are they compfy?

kashimax are great, they are only leave you sore if your bike is the wrong size and youve got it at the wrong height.

They have a bit of foam in them, the fake suede is great for the rain aswell, they just dont seem to ever feel wet.

I wouldnt reccomend buying a new one as they are well over valued, just get an old kashimax/concor/ISCA of ebay etc for a few quid.

You can peel of the suede and apply some more foam underneath if your desperate.

its not that im after the whole NJS thing.. im just living in Japan, so reason i may as well buy japanese parts

Just get anything, will be better than the stock fuji one for sure. Dont know whats available there, but can say kashimax and similar feel great on sprinty fixed bikes. You get a lot of clearance for your legs to do their thing in an aero manner.

For comfort Ive always liked San marco Rolls, but they dont suit very modern looking bikes.

Havent tried (riding) all them modern fizik saddles, had a feel of a Ti ralied one, would say build quality on a rolls is better.
