Herne Hill Inductions Extended! - London Fixed-gear and Single-speed

Hi all

Down at the track today was given the useful information that from September 1st there will be inductions on Monday nigths from 6pm as well as the Saturday morning slot.

They are running 'Come and Try It' sessions according to the VCL website;

What Pajamas doesn't say is that this morning's induction session was over subscribed by 15 people (and he was one of them). We assumed it was the Olympic effect.

it gets dark from 1930 at the begining of september..

thats half-seven.

that's 1.5 hours of track time. induction + have a go.
no real training.

who hasn't even inducted yet??

the year marches on, and the track will close in october..

who's up for the calshotage? nimmery, it's near your gaff innit?

not that near, really, no. but i was looking at signing up to one of the courses they are running, looks quite good.
it's still a good hour and a half drive from here, i'd have thought.
