The diameter of them looks a bit too large - I doubt you would be able to grip properly what with it being so large and no grips...

they are bigger than standard size bars but i found them fine to ride home with, i was thinking of raping them in bar tape to see what they will be like if not then make some thinner ones.

Don't like either set of bars, but the fact that you can just make more is awesome. Play around and see what works!

I don't know some people can get a good grip on something that big. Check out Raptile.

A naked blue nitto drop bar would look great.

Lovely frame. Have fun playing about with it - if you're going for the clown bike look how about some chopped down risers.

Or as ed sez above blue Nitto drops would look sweet (check out 50/14's Gazelle)

I'd go for Nitto RB21s (pursuit bars) 38mm width.

Are you gonna do a full deflection test on the stem?

I think it would look better with blue tyres - as for those bars, they're ridiculous, IMO.
Anyone want to see my first build?

I think blue nittos would look rubbish. the anodised blue would never match well with the blue frame graphics. Also, while the green tyres are fun and all, they don't suit this bike. The frame already shouts pretty loudly on its own and frankly the colours clash for me. also, I can't stand super-narrow flat bars, I just think they are 'kin horrible, nice try though. otherwise very nice indeed.

Nice frame, Phils and Deep V's. not sure about the tyres or bars but its your bike. you could pack you tool kit, lunch and wallet in the bars to save carrying a rucksack... i can see your thinking
