Fork length

I'm looking for forks for my frame, the headtube is 160mm long. My stem requires a threaded fork, and it's a 1inch tube, so the only thing left is headset and fork... what lengths should I be getting?

wheel size I think is 700C, I can't get a 27" wheel in without deflating tyres anyway.

Thanks for your help guys.

minimum steerer length = Head tube length + headset stack height

Just make sure they're long enough to allow the wheel to touch the ground.

Cheers guys, to varying degrees ;-)

I've revived the old thread, as I like the sprint forks, chrome is just what I need.
