Stockwell if you can get there at a quiet time (8am Sunday morning jobs were favourite for me many years ago). There's also a little known park tucked away at the top (south end) of Peckham Rye Park and one roud the corner from West Dulwich Station in (IIRC) Belvoir Gardens.

Hmm, You've not actually said that you want park. I can fully recomnmend the obscene amount of banks out mileend way.

How many years did you take off?
I've just finished building a new BMX after 6-7 years out. Need to scout as many riding partners as possible.

Well i used to ride trails and skateparks
Not really a huge fan of street riding but then never ridden in a city im sure my mind could change.
Just not been that impressed with Southbank when ive seen people riding there.
I have had about 2 years off i would say.

Long post just got deleted. Fucking work connectivity issues. Here was the gist.

If you have time go to Haywards Heath
Beautiful dirt jumps.

Failing that I know there are a couple of BMX courses somewhere in South London but I've never seen them so am not the best person to speak too.

Haywards Heath looks great. We should arrange a trip down there. Not really the kind of place you want to go on your own.

Cantalowes. Should be ok during the day. But the kids are off school at the moment.

Nice steep banks at SOAS and some nibles by Euston station.

Good mini ramp, spine and wall ride at Laytonstone. All wooden.

PM me if you are up for riding. I havent got out on my BMX as mutch as I would like this summer but can do most evenings.

There's a concrete park in Brixton and one in Finsbury Park (also concrete I believe, with bowls - not been there myself). If you want the feeling of being 14 again there's always Bay66 (formerly Playstation) but you have to pay and I think BMXs are only allowed in at certain times.

Finsbury Park is really small. Only really worth a trip if you happen to be in the neighbourhood.

Pink, I'm missing North today for a little spin on the BMX so I can get used to the feel, fancy booking an evening in for next week?

There a nice bmx dirt track in brockwell park. Its not obvious wen you first go in you have to go to the top of the hill, kinda right hand corner

Probably just hitting the industrial surroundings of Hackney Wick.
May get down to the crazy kids play area in Victoria Park.

Basically out east I'm afraid.
Up for an early Sunday morning session somewhere more central though?
