Is it or isn't it a Campag logo?

Measure the BCD by stcking a ruler between 2 sets of bolts, Campag (135 BCD) will measure in at 79.5mm.

It is the logo, well I just bought them under the guise of Campag, they've not arrived yet. I'll post measurements when they do.

Campagnolo C Record cranks had the Campagnolo shield logo etched into the cranks similar to the picture shown. It's hard to see from the photo if they logo is the Campagnolo one though.

If they're Campag (which we've all assumed now), you'll need an ISO taper BB.

Cheers Sam, they should be (the listing had them as Campag) I'll need Italian BB for my frame so I'll have a look about.

Bugger, my frame arrived with (unexpectedly) a shimano UN51 bottom bracket in it. I assume this isn't going to fit my cranks, so am I best finding an alternative bottom bracket?

Right, the cranks arrived today... defiantly a campag logo.

E-170 84 9/16"x20 stamped on the inside of crank arms.

Made in Italy and Brev campagnolo -53/39 stamped on chainring

Does this help elucidate the origin?

170 is crank length
84 could be year of manufacture
9/16" x 20 is the pedal thread size

Yes, I thought so, still quite a few reports of some sizes working together. I'll have to have a play.

I generally avoid mixing sizes on customers' bikes, but I have a lot of experience mixing ISO/J.I.S. in both directions on my own personal bikes, and it as never given me a lick of trouble.

Thanks Sheldon!
