Pointer shoes - London Fixed-gear and Single-speed

I've always liked the look of Pointer shoes and now that my vans have finally fallen apart I was thinking about getting a pair. Specifically the Debasers. Does anyone have pointers? they look awesome quality with really nice details, but how do they hold up on the bike? wouldn't want to wreck 'em. cheers.

Your over-thinking it.

I only ever go into a shop and see what I can get for <£15.

They look remarkably unspecial to me, no better suited to pedal cages than vans.

Theres a lot more interesting stuff out there in the trainer world.

actually i'm not 'over-thinking' it. In my (humble) opinion they are very nice :)

Please feel free to suggest some more exciting/suitable alternatives.

BTW i know these are not remotely designed for riding in, but i need some do-it-all shoes that i won't have to throw out next month.

I have 2 pairs of Debasers and they're great. One of my favourite shoes and understated.
It's nice to wear something a little different coming from a company which has a lot of integrity.
Good to ride in too...
