I recognised it as a Pista after a quick observing, but had he change his fork to a different one - it would be hard to tell.

despite everyone dislike I quite like it, with the expection of the unusual colour combination of the grey stem, seat post, crank, the white Phil and black spokes.

1- Sticker on the front wheel, none on the rear - ALL or nothing
2 - No straps, how the hell you gonna stop?
3 - White hub, black spokes and rim? Why?
4 - Silver rear hub, front is white?
5 - Silver rear spokes, front are black
6 - Powdercoating some perfectly fine steel/alloy components - looks shit
7 - Have you powdercoated a Sugino 75 crank?(sorry, can't make it out properly from the pic)
8 - Forks look shit
9 - Decent components(Phil, Sugino 75) on a shitty Pista - you can't polish a turd. Although I'll give you 6 over 10 for effort. Looks better than the original ;-)

I think it's ok. at least he's put thought and effort in. sure, there are some finishing issues and a coupla design issues that don't quite work (hub / spoke / rim colour combinations).

There aren't enough links in your chain to take the rear wheel out. And I'd lose the brooks too if it were mine.

Check out the breath of people who've been on the Champagne - smells like shit. I'm not saying shit as in bad, I'm saying shit as in excrement. If I had to narrow it down, I'd say cat poo.

Sparkling red tastes nicer and doesn't give you faecal airways.

You are clearly a mentalist and should be sectioned forthwith, not only for your own good, but for the good of wine conosewers like my own good self.

Champagne smells like cat poo?

You can roll the chain off the chainring when it's tight like that & same to get it back on I think.

I think everyones being a bit harsh... straps are a must... that is the daft bit but the rest is ok. I suppose you've got to be prepared for all sorts of comments when you post on a public forum. I'm quite liking the grey components, I got my frame done the same colour & I love it. Who gives a shit about your spoke colour, as long as the wheels are going round, you'll never notice

I reckon a flat saddle is a must. Fundamental, but I see a hell of a lot bikes with saddles set-up wrong.

Oh and Icecream, the bike's fine but you'd get a better response by following a bit of forum etiquette.

Buckfast has an excellent nose, spicy on the tongue, with a great finish.
