| | Alf 'Al' Webb Track Frame, and a saddle Up for sale is my much hated/loved Alf Webb track frame. £80 ONO. ![]() Would suit a rider who would normally take a 54 frame. It's a little too small for me and I'm 6ft. This frame has super standard fittings, 27.2 seatpost, 1/18th headtube, 100 in the front and 120 in the rear, british threaded BB. Drilled for brakes front and rear. Included will be the frame, forks, headset and stem. The headset needs a new star-fangled nut, at a cost of 50p, but is otherwise fine. Advantages of this frame: * Can be ridden on the track * Big fat aluminium tubes = fairly stiff * Cheap, and in good condition (seen very little use in the 8 or 9 months I've owned it) * Paint job blinds children/thieves @ 50 ft. (it's purple with a metallic blue splattered all over it. I love it!) * In need of a bike for the up coming polo tournament? Look no further! Also for sale, seen in picture: White specialized alias saddle, fair amount of use, scuffs in the usual places, yours for £15. It's the narrow one, I think. PM me offers. I'm based in SE5, just off loughborough road, wouldn't be too adverse to lugging it reasonably central (say waterloo/south bank). -Alex Last edited by asm; 15th August 2008 at 11:50.. |

That wasn't me! And the alf webb was here when i got home.. so.. does this mean there are two of these The frame has a tentative dibs, by the way. Anyone who wants to get 2nd in line, PM me. pj, I know your pain. Every day riding my sensible (um.) black steel frame, I secretly feel shame that I'm not the correct height to ride this work of cycling art. | |
