| | Hello. I'm here, yellow fixed. Keep an eye out for me. Also on a Giant SCR4.Go out in Sherwood CC kit, very hard to miss. Guy on a bown Langster lives over in Lowdham, goes into th centre alot. Not spoke to him, just seen him as i've been riding.Another guy, not seen him for a while, on an old yellow fixed, name is also Joe, from America. Theres another guy on a Langster i think, dunno if its fixed or singlespeed, see him sometimes. Hilly, no, its not bad. But the hills are normally short-ish and steep. I run 65GI and not had a hill i cant go up, yet. Bit hard down them sometimes, but still learning how to just let my legs spin fast. 65GI was also the gear most of the people that used to run fixed in club ran, or somewhere around the 65GI mark. Could go slightly bigger if you wanted. Wouldnt say much bigger though. Over by the uni its flat, you can pretty much run by the side of the river for miles, and not go over a hill. If your up for joining a local bike club and doing club rides, have a look at Sherwood, would be good to have someone else out on fixed sometimes. |

| | Yup, I'm here on a fixed black Kalkhoff, few friends about... Seb on a powder blue Sun jobby, Alistair on a pink with aerospoke and a nice Orange Viner. Some OTP's around too, there has been word of getting some rides together, watch this space. Oh and fixed all the way, no problems with hills to speak of, always routes around if you don't need quickest route to town. |

| | bozo - be sure to check out the Alley Cafe, just off Market Square past Boots. Its my brother's place, an he gives me recent info that a group of ss'ers chill there. Great food (Vegetarian), smooth beats and a great vibe. Its up an Alley (funnily enough) so bikes can be locked out of sight. |

| | All the stuff round the broadmarsh is gone :-( All flat now. I rode fixed in Nottingham for a month or two when I was sans bike, when I was at uni there (my dad's old 50's winter trainer), and did not love it like I do in London, too many steep ass hills, and I don't think there is a single flat bit of nottingham. |

| | Ah, thats why i dont see many then. Closest i get to the city centre is West Bridgeford. Should really go in there more and keep my eyes open. You can do routes where there are no real hills. Cavendish road i have to honk up, most of the others i can just keep going up. But then i'm probably geared lower. |

| | Keep an eye out for me, seen the Langster a few times, if its the guy i think he never waves or anything, even when i'm riding my fixed. Keep an eye out for me, hard to miss. I did see someone on an old fixed today, lightish blue with full guards on going up Porchester road, red back wheel. Anyone on here? |

| | I live in West Bridgford and tend to ride around the uni and the city looking for hills and traffic so you might see alot of me (I'm not hard to miss 6'4", blonde fatlad on a green Langster.) I've noticed an increase in the number of fixed wheels riding around, mainly Langster's (1 london) but have seen a couple of nice 80's style frames kicking about. As far as gears go I'm riding with 69gi and don't have any problems. -Gordo |

| | The oneon the brown never says hello either, or the one that goes up Porchester road that i have seen a few times. One London one, a guy in Freewheel owns that one, i stood and laughed at that Wheelie Big Breakfast thing, they had it right at the front of the stand. Theres a guy on a Brown Langster that lives in Lowdham, rides into Nottingham, that might be the lecturer person maybe? |
