What is this?

Saw this in NYC yesterday and wondered if any one new what the frame was....

looked alloy but it was the detail on the frame that got me looking. It looks like you can undo the two alloy joins????

Check it out

Loooks like the CUntsters odd cousin with S&S couplers..

S&S Couplers (those metal bits on the main tubes) allow you to split the frame in half for travel..

cunning semi-fail locking there. only thru the wheel but as it's inside the frame i imagine it'd be hard if not impossible to remove.

Brookyln Machine works - Gangsta track

Despite the fat tubing, is surprisingly very light.

I dont think I was paying attention, I just noticed that!

BMW are based in NYC right, and lots of fixed/courier/HHS bikes etc

so im guessing its not that uncommon to see someone with a modified gangsta track frame there, its couldve even been done by BMW as a custom job.
