Aha! A helmet solution!

Just got this through on my Springwise mailout.
God bless the Danes for conceiving a helmet solution that I almost wouldn't mind wearing.

Now if only someone sold them over here… And in 'gargantuan noggin' size too…
:(

Cos i'm being told off by the missus for the drunk, helmetless cycling. As someone else pointed out its just a bmx lid with no ventilation, but winter's on its way it seems.

You seriously reckon those things look better than a funky race helmet?
They look ridiculous to me. I want my 2D..

nah, all helmets look a bit stupid. I already own a couple but wearing this got me funny looks in the street.

don't bother!
those things are some of the ugliest i've laid eyes on in my short life.
they consist of a non padded badly fitting bowl of expanded polystyrene with some sort of poor quality cap, with untidy seams, on the outside.
sorry

I think they're rather cool (comparatively). At least cool enough that my lady wants one…

Screw them then.
I'll make my own.
Or perhaps commission a Smeear version?

Or just buy a normal (read: ugly) helmet.
Or just keep meaning to and not get round to it…

look great to be honest, even my girlfriend like the look of it, I'm thinking it be idea for winter when drivers are a bit more of a menace on poor condition (I lost count of near misses during winter).

If it was cold in this country maybe but it's not, plus it's even warmer in London due to it's heat island effect they just seem like head ovens.

i think getting smeear to try would be the best idea. We all know the quality and then we can all see one in the flesh - and lets face it, it would be funkier. ;)

still not going to get me to wear one. I am with hippy - hate the race lid but going to suffer it in the winter.

Just get someone to crochet something funky to fit on top of your favourite helmet.

OK bad choice of model but you get the idea ;)
