Flyer - a quick fix - London Fixed-gear and Single-speed

I have no teeth left...
Don't think that Transit Connect Vans are any less "lethal" than the full on Transit. Got clobbered a few days ago - found this site whilst healing.
Anyhow - need to get back onto a bike ASAP - got an offer of a Genesis Flyer at cycle surgery. Any opinions on how it rides compared to a pista frame?
