Lost/stolen mare st ish

This is a weird one

A Friend (yes it's not me) had a bit of a big night on sat and can't find/remember where his bike is. it may have been stolen but it was locked up with a krypt fahhget chain. he honestly can't remember where he left it.

The bike is a CINELLI VIGORELLI

with;
thomson stem and seatpost
mtb risers
105 brake
miche cranks
system ex hubs on black velocity rims. front machined, radial laced.

It was last seen around the side streets of mare st near the Dolphin at about 4 sunday morning.

if anybody sees it please let me know, my no. is in the no. thread

cheers

What's more heartbreaking; having a bike stolen outright, or having every component savagely stripped from it, leaving but a sorry scarred frame hanging by it's cable lock from a lampost.

Dolphin is evil. If it's being parted out I would look closely in the estate on Goldsmiths row. I used to live above the dolphin and found my mugger in that estate a week later.

Some totally random dude came up to us at the polo court offering to sell us 'wheels like those' (pointing at deep v's). We told him to piss off, but I can't help thinking we should have played along to see what/whose they were. Definitely dodgy.

having had a vigorelli (BJ) stolen on friday, i feel your pain. for too long i've been riding to the pub, double locking, and thinking, it's ok, bike won't get stolen, other people don't lock properly, or leave it in a stupid place. i was wrong. eventually shit happens. unless there's a whole load of riders and a heap of vigilance, the bike stays at home. the beater is being constructed in my evil lab from leftovers as i type. it's going to be a hideously ugly raleigh conversion.

I was in Victoria station waiting for a friend and had my bike with me because I didnt want to lock it up. I went to subway to get a sandwich in the mall there and as I was ordering three security guards came and escorted me out! They said there was no riding in the mall, i said "I wasn't" they said "you might"! WTF? You can never win. I'm still not locking my bike up there.
