Bottom bracket thread type?

Ive just got my hands on a nice track frame and in the process of building it up but not sure what thread type the bottom bracket takes, ( ie british italian etc) any simple way of working it out before i start buying the wrong thing?

Measure the width of the bottom bracket shell - if it's 68 mm it's English threaded and if it's 70 mm it's Italian.

either you have to guess, or post some pics so we can guess...

or swiss at 68mm, usually found on some old pugs and other flemish n french manufactured frames, just to make life easier!
