Stickies - London Fixed-gear and Single-speed

I was wondering whether it would be useful to make a couple more stickies - I was thinking of the bike photos and the Let's Trade threads. They probably get the most traffic so it might be useful.

Sure, nominate the threads you want in here, but I'll limit them to 5 stickies to prevent them from going out of control.

So if we get to 5 stickies and another thread looks like it should be stickied, I'll unsticky one of the existing ones.

"what bikes do you ride" and "Let's Trade" are both stickied :)

just got back from a couple of laps round richmond park and i passed somebody on a langster who looked at me (probably thought 'look at that tosser'), i managed a half a nod back as i span furiously past.
wondered if if it's worth having a 'was that you i saw?' sticky or a 'i waved but you ignored me and i lost concetration and crashed but you didn't stop to help' thread?
like the once seen ads in time out
don't make a sticky on my behalf but if anyone else thinks it worth it?

I think it could be quite a fun thread, maybe spread it out to - who was that i saw? thread...

As they are now - welcome and what bikes do u ride should be the same thread. also spoke card discussions shouldnt be sticky, but designs should and discussions should just be linked to form designs.

Also the bike porn thread isnt that great.

I've done something different. We were up to 7 stickies and half of the front page was stuff that weren't necessarily the most recent conversations.

So instead I've added a place for "Top Discussions", and have unstuck all of the other stuff that now appears within that section.

I've kept as stickies the transient things that shoulbe high profile.

what happens when a new comment is made to those discussions?
does it appear at the top again, like a normal thread would?

Yup.

Everything acts normally, it's just that those threads get a set of links that are always present at the top of the Discussions, Categories, Search and Comments pages.
