| | Tue 19th Aug - The pints ride 2 So about a year ago we had a semi-pub-crawl type ride which ended hilariously, and tbh I think we should have another. I know the grand-slam in a day has been done, but this is more mad-cap and covers more random bits of london. The old route, dredged up from beery memory: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=1342853 was amazing, but more pubs and miles may need to be covered. It will be a night ride of course, but the weather is so good it doesn't matter. I propose a friday night, but a poll is the most legit way of working this out. |

| | A beer-stained memory: Met @ tate modern, then we went to a pub up st. Johns' street, then another pub up in islington, then the albion further into islington, and finally finished @ a pub somewhere in N1, near the junction between york rd and camden rd. Ma3k did a wee in a glass, then poured it over a hybrid, then we rode back through an empty london, mostly on the wrong side of the road, and I was introduced to a new style (speed) of riding by Ma3k and the gentleman Jonny when they both lived south of the river. We could do the same route to the same pubs, but I think we should definitely start at the Tate Modern again. |
