I am implementing a very strict - No drinking during the week policy - but I may turn up for a lemonade about 6.30ish. Depends on work

It was, I gave you a wave back. As much as I like riding in with my GF it is a bit anoying having to take bake roads and cycle lanes. Hence I was waiting obidiantly at the lights.

Head down tonight. I still owe you a beer/ lemonade for the train ticket.

I know the feeling ,the wife and I are completely incompatible when riding together. A massive argument usually breaks out within about 30 seconds. I gave up long ago

Its ok. She rides at a decent pace. Her problem is that she isnt very confident (undestandably) riding in the London traffic. By the time we get to Shorditch and she peels off to go to her office I am close to a hart attack from keeping an eye on me and her.

Ha ha, I've done that so many times that she just kind of gets on with it now. She even makes use of my prone, unconscious form when possible, think draft excluder, coat rack, ironing board (ouch), punch bag. She's resourceful.

No jerseys on the horizon yet, nothing wrong with starting the trail of destruction early though. Maybe we could beat up a barmaid later on?

We could beat up a barmaid but then we would have to organize North Drinks else where. It took us long enough to get it at the flask.

Maybe a trail of destriction around Highgate followed by a nice quiet drink at the flask. Dont want to upset Minty now.

Right, I've just got back home from holidays and feel the need to ride bikes and drink beers.

Only problem is that Tuesday's are so fucking confusing now:

North Drinks? Central Drinks (RIP) ? TrixieDix? Kill myself on hills with Jonny and Clintsmoker?

So, where is the fun at, who's coming north, who's doing trix, what is going on?

Is anyone up for a Lamb -> Trix -> North drinks loop?

I'm off on holiday myself tomorrow so will be missing from central drinks (and jonny's night ride) tonight.

Yeah, it was the first thing that sprang to mind, maybe we could smash up a phone box or a bus stop instead. It seems to be cool to do that these days.

I know, that was kind of the point ;-) It's shitting on our own doorstep a bit though as Mr Mobbs points out so maybe it's worth missing that one, for today at least. Let's re-assess after tonight, based upon service and beer quality.

Fair enough have a blast, hope the weather is good for you. Mine was good fun but Cornwall was a tad wet!

Don't tell Horatio, but the job hunting has gone pretty well. I'll be employed as of the 8th September, unless something goes badly wrong between now and then. Contracts in the post :-)
