Conversion Stem - litle help? - London Fixed-gear and Single-speed

Hi all. I have a LeMond Fillmore which I have been riding fixed for a few months and loving it! I have recently come into possession of some bars which I would love to fit to my bike, my first foray into modification.

I am reliably informed I have a 1 1/8" A Head fork, and the bars I want to fit are 24.8mm dia.

Does anyone know if/how this is possible? What kind of stem should I be looking for? Any help greatly appreciated

one with two holes, one being 1 and 1/8th inch and one being 24.8. that will be fiddy dorrahs

I see... yes, well, thank you for your immediate response. The friendly and helpful chap at Brick Lane Bikes seemed to think this might be a rather rare item, any of you fellows know where I could pick one up/track one down?

can't you just use a shim for the stem/bars interface dude.
