Jagwire

I wondered if any one off here could tell me where I can get a hold of these, preferably in the uk?

There are loads in America but they cost $10 but $25 to ship!

I know its anal but I have a new bike and I don't want any frame rub ;)

Put those rubber washer thingies over your cables instead - neater and more permanent.

Otherwise search ebay for helicopter tape - it's clear tape that's used to protect helicopter blades from damage (i.e. it's hardcore) and you can cut pieces to stick to your bike where the cables rub. Can also use it to protect the chainstay.

I've discovered this amazing roll of tape that i've found a million uses for, some kinky. I nicked it from our engineers, its for binding cables and such. Its like this non-sticky rubber strip, looks a bit like p*nct*re repair rubber but thin. When you stretch it a bit and wrap it on itself it bonds into a solid join. Its awesome. No messy gluey stuff.

Just thought i'd share.
