Green OTP Bianchi Pista

I was searching about in Google and I came upon a "Bianchi Pist Flat Bar", not only that it have a nice vivid lime green paintjob and a subtle lugged fork;

How come no one hear about it? or is it just me?

I found it via this

Looks good, can't believe I said that about a Pista. Does this mean that deep rims are out, and skinny rims are the new black?

2009 is going to be all about 'rimless', just spokes straight on to tyres.

It's probably next year's model - the majority of bike manufacturers start publishing details of their range for next year in August, just prior to the trade shows in September.

I like that. But then I am one of the 1000's of 'johnny come latelys' riding about town on a Chrome Pista (albeit the only thing left from OTP is the frame and forks!)

Fakenger Opinion No. 1 - stem and seatpost v. nice.
Fakenger Opinion No. 2 - should change colour of the chain and the straps

if you look carefully, the fork is lugged and not the same as the actual Pista, methinks it's to make it a bit more comfortable around town? (the fork sit further out than usual).

Further investigation reveals it to be a Japan only bike, and you can also get a drop bar version:

Ahh no wonder it took age for me to try and find it.

honestly I think they look great, simple, straightforward, not trying too hard to look like a HHSB like the Langster and the like.
