Tyre Choice for Fixie?

I'm building my first fixie and I've purchased some white Velocity Deep Vs. I wanna know what tyre size choice is best, 23's or 28s? I live in Sydney and will be mostly riding to work on pretty average quality roads. I weigh nearly 100kgs so I'm thinking 28's might be a little smoother. I don't want the wheels to look bulky though?

Any advice would be appreciated - cheers

25s? The in betweeners choice! Also puncture resistant qualities would be a good choice on your average roads.

Gatorskins 23mm and make sure you buy a track pump and get them pumped up to 100PSI.

Everyone is going to recommend a different tyre, go to your lbs and ask him what he recommends for the Sydney roads. And I weigh 94 kg and ride 23s, so you should be fine with 23s.

I'm a wiry 70kgs and find some of the Liverpool roads a real bone-shaker on 25s. It's all down to your riding style too, if you want to ride fast you'll enjoy 23s better and be frustrated with 28s.
