How much would I fetch for a Claud Butler frame (vertical dropouts)?

Hi,

I'm helping to convert a road bike into SS. Well, it's already a SS but he has problems with the chain tension (no surprise there). I think the best thing would be to get a frame with horizontal dropouts.

At the moment he has got a Claud Butler frame with a really fat down tube. The frame is in decent condition with no rust. It's only the stickers that have peeled off ever so slightly. Do dents.

How much would you think a frame like this would fetch on ebay/gumtree? I'm asking because I would buy a new frame first, then move the components over and then sell the Claud Butler.

If you go down that route ^ try bike fix, think they are the only place in London equipped to do frame repairs and mods, as long as its steel anyway.

Thanks for the replies. My post might have been confusing. I was not thinking about selling the frame on here. I was hoping someone could estimate its value (on ebay/gumtree) so I know how much I can spend on a frame with vertical dropouts.

Try searching for your frame on ebay and gumtree, without more specific info we cn't tell you the value of it, you may get £20, you may get £100

Get on the bay
