The best thing is, even though it's a very extensive tattoo as tattoos go, it looks natural without looking like some inane doodly crap for the sake of it.
really awesoeme tattoist who did that for you.
Not often you see one like that.

Having seen it in person yesterday, the colours are brilliant, I love the skulls on his knees. everything was just a continued flow on his legs

I know quite a few people going through blackening up their sleeves, some of them are hoping to do scarification/branding on top. But I most defintely agree on you on it being a big step.

I actualy pianted my arm black a few weeks ago to see what it looked like (It looked pretty good) and it even convinced my hesitant girlfriend. Not really into scarification/branding though, one step to far for me.

I got a branding done on my leg about 5 years ago, its faded like mad now and you can only really see it when my legs are really tanned as it stays white. Never been able to pluck up the courage to get a tattoo yet, really don't like needles!

I've got from my shoulder down to my forearm done so far and part of the forearm near the wrist. I'm going from my collarbone to my hand so a little bit more and I'll have a fully black left arm. It's time consuming and will probably need a few layers if you don't get it all the sessions near eachother. Bear in mind too, some artists find it boring (even though they probably wont say that) and I've experienced shit service from two tattooists who charged me the same 60 quid an hour for less and less work each time. Now I get it done by a friend who tattoos and is good with the large mags and black.

After my arms finished I'm going to start on my right leg (more heavy blackwork), ankle up to knee in a honeycomb pattern. Should be good :)

Big black ftw finger

I vowed I'd never get my hands done, then about 6 years ago I caved.
I'm still super happy with it even though I know its gradually turning blue(it was done with rotring pen ink & bamboo attached to a snapped off car radio aerial, i look back now, laugh & go WTF not FTW) ...still got the bug, still got some virgin flesh, damn, this thread has got me itching for more ink

I've got a fair bit of work from Mo Coppoletta though its pretty different from his usual stuff, but i'm thinking its time to put my name down on the Zed waiting list...i just go a bit silly when i see some of his work & know that he's got the sight to envision what i'm hankering after. now if only my wallet was fatter.

Anyone had a experience with Dave Bryant at Evil from a needle? My girlfriend is looking to have a tattoo done and thinks his work is impressive. We visited Frith St but she didn't feel comfortable. Her design is really simple but requires expressive line drawing skills to really articulate the image

Just had this done

To remind me of my recently passed away grandad. Sailor and proud yorkshireman he was (hence the anchors and white roses).

I got blank banners done so that I can fill them in with a pen depending on what I'm up to!

Smooth linework, who did it? And will the roses actucally be white or? As white wont always show up on "white" skin.

smooth line work and good bedside manner too!

I'm trying to decide at the mo, whether to put a little shading on the roses or just leave them as is. Once's it's healed up properly I'll have a doodle on it and see what I think
