Metallic powder coating?

Hey girls and guys,
I'm about to get the ol faithful a new look wich she really deserves. So powder coating and most likely at the friendly folk at armourtex. Amongs other considering a dark mettalic finish, so I'm wondering if anyone has had any metallic frame work done and maybe even from these guys? Dude said that the metallic was only a little more bread and something they did at the finishing. Got me thinking he ment 'metallic flake' finish where as i'm more wanting the proper deep metallic look. Stop saying metallic.. Anyway, any pointers would be most helpfull. - Hoym

Of course i will document and share! almost goes without saying.. :) Thanks Vinylvilain.
I have some speedy yellow velo's on order and im between the black yellow thing or a deep dark green/blue (or grue as my brother calls it) metallic If they dont have the right shade my default is darth vader black (trying to make it sound fancy).- It's a trusty specialised langster wich has gone many a mile and deserves a sporty speedy look..

If you want a decent old skool hot rod metallic effect, you need to use flake and a candy colour.

I took a frame last year to a house of kolor paint shop and was quoted nearly £500.

The Armortex metallic is so subtle it just looked like dust to me.
