Lo-profile rim, no silver sidewall 700c?

Is any one else craving non deep v looking rims, something along the lines of old Mavic MA40's with that uniform colour? The Lo-pro in the title doesn't relate to the bike but the rim style. Did find dt swiss 29er disk rims a few months back but lost that link now. Any ideas throw them this way. Thanks

Hey Tynan, have a nos 650 open pro in the shop, in hard anodised grey...plus a bunch of matching 700 ones. Oh yeah, and they're 32 hole.
Not amazingly interesting, but a matching pair nevertheless!
For the Tommasini right?

Those are exactly what I had in mind Roberto, only after a front though. How possible would that be?

Hey, what shop do you work in? I'd like to take a look at one of the 700's. What
sort of price? Thanks

"Mavics best selling disc rim is now offered in a 700c version"

These were found on Universal cycles website, not as skinny as I'd like but edit the sticker and that'd be a pretty good looking rim.

I work at cavendish cycles. The open pro hard anodised rims are around £40 each. Probably one of the lightest rims available, but still super strong. They look like this...

So, a uniform grey colour all over...however, the braking surface is still textured, but it doesn't detract from the look at all. Look great with gumwall tyres for a classic look!

Those other mavic rims you're looking at are aimed more at the tourer or hybrid market, and yes, they will be quite wide meaning that you wouldn't really be able to put a 23c tyre on there; 28c or above is the norm with those.

Nice, I'll take a look if Roberto wants to keep his Araya's in pairs.

Tynan,

If you are still looking. We also have a set of matching Campagnolo omega rims for sale in 650 and 700. To go with it are a 28 hole front campy hub and a 32 rear.

PM me if you are interested.
