How do I view my PMs? Also how am I notified when I get a new message?

Click on the link that says 'Private Messages' in the top right hand corner of this page.

When you have a new message your doorbell will ring.

new members may have to wait until their post count increases before private messaging privileges are activated. (because of a spate of cretins)

But that could just end up encouraging potentially good members to spam threads up for the sake of increasing their post count in order to activate privileges. In other words it is dumb. I should have spread that statement over 3 posts, then I would have a higher post count.

Doesn't sound like that'd be a good member to me? In fact, perhaps the opposite. More like a Shinscar type of member. ;)

Good members wouldn't do that.. anyone who does that is cockflange and will be beaten to death with raw sausages.

I said "potentially good", this potential goodness is corrupted by their frustration at not being able to send a PM, thus transforming them into a cockflange.
