where about London are you from? I can give you a location of labs that does medium format.

I never liked ther Diana camera, even thought I have a clone, prefer the Holga really, much more solid.

The Holga is basically a copy of the Diana really, but without the flaw of the Diana.

SW London, so you're south of the river I assumed; Putney Snappy Snap (on the high street) process medium format as far as I know, I know mostly labs in central London than the south of the river.

sort of, it was made for the Chinese working class, at the time black and white 120 film are common and cheap, it was intended for people who can't afford a proper camera.

it's only laterly it become popular and got a toy camera status.

just got back from the states so it worked out about 30notes with that book aswell, was looking in the photographers gallery befor i went, thought it was a bit expensive at £45, i know that 30is still a bit much for a plastic camera but had some dollers to use up.

Photographer's Gallery is a bit more expensive because they're the camera from Lomography.com, and add an extra £5 to £10 to compensate the profit for themselves.

on Lomography.com you can get a Diana for £31, thought a DIANA F+ would be better since having a flash is always a winner, thought twice the cost at £63 but you can use the flash on any camera, it's proper old skool.
