Stag Do's... - London Fixed-gear and Single-speed

So I need to come up with some ideas for my best mates stag do. Needs to be spread over two days and be UK-based. Anyone done anything good stag wise?

Sort out the budget, i.e. what is the maximum people are comfortable spending? I organised a mate's stag do and had a fucking superb weekend organised only for two people to complain that it was too much (about £150 each) and we ended up staying in Maidenhead and going to Ascot races! One of the cunts didn't turn up then...

Had a weekend in Manchester, went clubbing at South, Karting and lotsa drinking.
Devon surfing on 2 stag do's - once at Woolacombe and once at Newquay. These were belting do's and not very much, we camped in Newquay and it was a good laugh, even with banging heads?

Just had my stag - played cricket and football in regents park and then went on for an indian, then a strip club and ended up in the Dolphin til about 6.

Good because instead of making all you mates fork out £500 for a weekend in prague or something it's well cheap but everyone has a good time...

If you like Cricket and football... Most exspenive Stag was in London, meal at Rules (£150 a head) cabs to pubs, Browns strip club, more cabs, more pubs... All spoilt because the food was so rich, I couldn't drink! Total waste of time

Yeah I wanted to do the old hackney marsh pitch and putt and then food, pubs and gentlemans establishments but I think that was a non-starter.

My stag was last weekend and I'm still happily bent out of shape from a cracking time - we hired a narrow boat from Rugby (came to about £100 each) and cruised towards Oxford...lots of excess and putting the wind up middle England combined with beautiful scenery and local boozers. I would highly recommend it.

In August I'm on a stag do where a yaught has been hired and we're sailing around the Solent. We can take our own food and drink on board. Then camping in the new forest somewhere. The boat bit is looking like a bout 90 - 100 p/h and then camping + booze + evening meal will prob end up being 50 quid p/h.

2nd stag do this summer is going to involve wake boarding about 50 quid p/h + meal and booze somewhere or other.

Two riped off idea for you there.

the best I ever went on was hiring a 12man barge and going up the river stort and lea.

quite cheap in the end, hugely boozy and with plenty of stories to tell!

you get to visit so many pubs, if the weather is good you'll have a blast. I reckon it would be good even in the rain. but not in the winter

Pub crawl on a canal boat (loaded with sound-system / booze / drugs / ladies-of-pleasure - delete as applicable).

the barge do sounds fantastic.

I've been on two and they've both been the stock 'get shitfaced then go to a strip club' affair.

Get imaginative, go deep sea fishing in Cornwall or something. (not the craziest idea i'll admit)

Last one I went on, we hired a sailing boat that took us along the Kent coast - Faversham to Whitsatble and beyond and back. About 15 of us on the boats, £150 or so each for boat hire, crew (who cook the meals) and fully stocked with booze. Plenty of time to stop at pubs too.

a mate of mine took his non cycling friends on a cycle tour / pub crawl through oxford, even the whiners loved it. Bikes rule!
having said that, i've done the barge stag too, awesome.
