sorry the size is a 49 seat tube, 52 cm top tube. Suit someone up to 5'9"

Not sure where you get that idea, as it cost more than £425. Lemond Fillmore's come built up with crap components but this is a custom build around the original frame. Get your facts right Jack

That's a bit optimistic - I'd say 5'6"/5'7" (with short torso) tops.

I'm 5'7" (with a long torso) and tried one of those with a 120mm stem (flipped to get enough height) and still felt a bit squooshed up.

Kinda have to agree with dogs on this, adding nice bits to an otp does not really add value, it you want your money back, sell the bits separately.

Campag cranks fitted to the bike = just some cranks on the bike, campag cranks separately = saleable item with value, if you get what I mean.

"custom built"

is misleading. it usually means the frame was custom made for someone.

this is an OTP bike with some changed out parts

Here's an analogy,
It's like kitting up a Ford escort an expect more than the default asking price.
Never happens, even though the alloys and all the mods may have cost more than the whole car !
Same thing applies to bikes really.

Just put the stock parts back on, and either keep the bits you modded the Lemond with, or use them to build your new bike up.

true, I used to use the term 'custom' when referring to a bike with different bits added but then realised unless the frame has been made for you/altered specifically, it's just the same bike.

Yeah, I usually spend a shit-load of money swapping out the parts on a brand new product when I want to give it a whirl. Only the best for me, dontcha know.

the new components all look pretty average to me other than the king headset and the saddle. the seat post is crap the stem is crap an old chorus chain set wow like £15.00 at a cycle jumble the back wheel less than average. £425 no more like £250-£300max

support here from a lemond owner... for dogsballs and bmmf: i really gotta agree that that frame would not fit who you say it would, nor is it a custom bike: it is a lemond fillmore with some bits swapped over, but not in a style that is anywhere near what i would consider desirable. i actually find the filmore a really nice bike, very comfortable and enjoyable to ride. i am about 5'8 or 5'9 and have a 53cm frame. my g/f (coincidentally) has the same model but with a 49cm frame - she's 5'4, i think, or maybe a bit shorter. the components have actually lasted well, so i'm not sure what your definition of "crap components" is either.

OK, if you want to sell it here you will need to get a bit more realistic, Second hand filmore frame 100 + chainset 20 + brakes 15 + bb 10 + brooks tape 5 + wheels 80 + sundries 50 = 280 and I'm being pretty generous. So anyone here could do that themselves for 280 or less with the components of their choice. So I think if you said £250 you would probably get a bite.

Edit : By the way, what the hell was wrong with the stock bits that it came with? Why did you change them all?!??!

250 was what my g/f got hers for online (after a little bit of bargaining)... actually, may have been 240, don't quite remember (including postage)
