Custom Charge - London Fixed-gear and Single-speed

Thinking of ordering a velocity wheelset from wheel & sprocket dot com, from the US to the UK, anybody know what the average charge is from Customs for a parcel of that size/value?

I think Duty and Vat combined is around the 27% mark all up.

Yeah I would budget for an extra 30% at least if you get stung. That said I ordered some stuff from Ben Cycles the other week and despite it being a huge box didn't get stung by Customs or Parcelforces greedy fee.

well i jus got my NJS frame from japan and he put the value at $790 and i got charged only £105
