I'm trying to find out Something about a frame brought to England by a friend from Japan in the early 80's.... The frame is painted a glittering metallic red there is a small sticker at the top of the down tube that reads " YOSHIDA MUSASHINO JIMBOX SPICA" with smaller print between each word reading "cyclemate, cyclo salon, sport cycle, city cycle" with each small category possibly relating to each larger word (i.e. SPICA city cycle) There are stickers on the front of the head tube and top of the seat tube that read " S2 Scorpion Frame No.2 made by AL" and a sticker on the seat tube near the BB that reads " CHAMPION No.2, Chrome Molyboen Steel Butted Tubes, Tange Industries LTD"







I don't believe there was ever any other manufacturers logos on the frame but I can't be sure as my brother rode the bike for a while in the 90's and could of removed.

The dropouts are stamped Shimano SF and the lug work / details look like this ....









The bike was built up by a guy in Japan for the friend to bring as a gift. The bike was specked with Shimano 600, Campagnola , Sugino Most of which is still on the bike now including original BB.

Other bits are cut down Profile bars (old) and MTB parts I had already apart from the wheels £120, brake lever £12,tires & tubes £28 thanks Gary Edwards (Camberwell) Mavic cranks are 170mm but have not been any problem apart from toe overlap....





I'd also like to know contacts for best companies that could help with any of the following:
reproduce the above stickers
remove braze ons
make alterations to frame
re-spray

Dose anyone have a reliable technic for removing stickers (not lacquered over) without damage them so they can then be scanned?
