| | Thanks TALLSAM, the decal is HOT, I'm reasonably sure it's a sticker thought all the decals where put on after the lacquer and are quite thick vinyl I heard I might be able to get it off in one piece if I heated it enough, has any one ever succeeded doing this? Just to elaborate (I'm trying to find out Something about a frame brought to England by a friend from Japan in the early 80's.... The bike was built up by a guy in Japan for the friend to bring as a gift.) This bike was give to my father by friend who carried the bike on the same passenger flight she arrived on. I have not bought this bike second hand, I know this bikes history from new, it has never been re-sprayed. The paint is a glittering metallic red and looks too good for a non branded frame but anythings possible. I did consider that the main decal was from the shop from which it was originally purchased, this decal is definitely to do with this frame ( I think BILL got a bit carried away with the whole Brick Lane cut and shunt theme ) like I said I'd really like to find out more.... ![]() ![]() ![]() HIPPY, would you like to buy the bike, I'll tighten up the chain for you.... It's weird it seem like the chain is stretching! is that like possible? Would you have tighten it up at 4.30 in the morning after a long week at work even though neither of the threads was about chain tension? Would my threads be more popular then? Interesting tirade of pent up frustration, the way PAJAMAS is swinging that handbag he's gonna break a nail.... This emo rant is second to none specially the last paragraph "wannabe high school jock like you, aggressive in his ordinariness" PAJ read what you wrote dude.... And the bit about reading old threads, I remember allot of the threads starting with some new user posting an ill informed message and then getting the piss ripped out of them, using just as offensive language as any I've used? Anyhow I like the way you tell the readers you find my language offensive but make it clear you ant ChiChiMan yourself "I don't have to fall into the categories of fixed gear rider you think you have identified to find the language you use offensive. The fact that you think you have pushed buttons that matter or relate to people here shows how little you actually understand about the fixed culture here" Maybe you could summarize fixed culture for everyone. Again here you make clear your not the poor geek with social problems (god forbid) your defending "There are lots of people who have social problems who are geeks and probably do feel more comfortable with their bike than with a girl - and so fuckin what? Whatever makes them happy bell-end." and you say I'm the one with the ego. Right On To clear things up the post wasn't about sexuality I'm sorry to anyone apart from PAJ who found it aggressive or bullying (There is non of that on this site) |

| | alter ego Superprecise, not worth it. Not sure why this guy doesn't try and write a novel instead. Probably cos it's something he's not up to. Trouble is I'm up at this time and there was a slight blip in the users when DHSE1 came on. Bored now I know it's bollocks. i still refer the poster to my original comments. Shower down your mudguards and go for a ride. London's lovely at this time even if it is raining. |

See if the poster ever actually came to drinks he would know how far off the mark he was.. but then again that's not the point here. It's mostly about relieving his boredom or creative frustration - so again, maybe ride more. Keep riding and riding and riding until you don't get these urges to be provocative and belligerent under an assumed identity (so that your usual one is still held in the awe and respect you value so much, yes you do now). Sorry have I said I've rumbled him? Have I implied I know who it is? Can't remember, it was late last night. *scans thread* why yes I did. Last edited by pajamas; 13th July 2008 at 11:06.. | |

| | 'course if you want I can suspect you SP....;) but I think I know who it is. not being coy about it either - it's his right to post what he wants as whoever he wants, I won't rumble him. I just won't bother engaging any more with any of his ids. It's not that difficult really, if I've got it right.. |

| | no dude I've always thought you were a pretty on-the-level poster, though I have thought for some time it would be nice to meet you at drinks..:) it's not for me to be an arbiter of someone's approach to forums btw - anyone can be anything they want. I'm just fucked off that some people feel the need to do this as ultimately it is a wanker's game and it does piss several people off. There's a world of difference between posting an alias to amuse or have an injoke and what is going on here. I approached the thread as if it were a real newb but it was kicked around very early on that it could be an alias. But whether it's a newb or an alias posting shit to get a reaction - in my book you're still a wanker mate. You've blown it. |

| | I'm also fairly sure the post last night was a little bit petulant because his joke had backfired - or rather, fired too well then kind of got out of control. And ooh ain't it amusing how pajama |
