Shared or single Studio/Workspace. Cheapish!

After a couple of years of on and off t-shirt / clothing making, embroidery, dyeing, painting etc from my rented living abode, I feel now's a good time to work in a decent space and get things going again.

I'm looking for some small space preferably East, North, or Central.
The cheaper the better but has to be safe enough to leave my machinery.

Anyone want to share their space for a cut of the rent?
Anyone want to join me in renting somewhere?
Anyone heard about such a place?

I will be doing a lot of sewing, embroidery, and hand dyeing.
Maybe some screen printing too so it's better if it's not too clinical in there.

I know a few folk off here are into their sewing and making and wondered where they're currently working?

Any help will be greatly received.

Thanks,

-Todd

I was recently looking for somewhere, I had a look at Tom Baker's* old place on Berwick Street, 1st floor, quite small, but might suit you (?) I think he has moved out now, can't remember how much he was asking, but I could find out . . .

Sounds interesting, but surely it'd be expensive over that way?

Sounds good Smeear. I think it'd work well us both working in the same space.
A lot of sewing going on + I'd like to turn it into an open studio (sometimes) if possible.
That way, we could do open evenings for potential business, press etc.
I have a few contacts with shops through my main job so that could also help us distribute both of our items.

Just need to find a space we can both afford...
