What to do today

Looks like the nicest weather I've seen all year, what should I do? Or rather, where's the best place to go and lounge about in the sun all day :)

Go to somewhere like Turnham Green in West London. Yeah it's my 'hood but it's lovely.

Basically a lovely village green but set near enough to food, coffee and newspapers.

When you're bored, go down to Richmond and sit beside the river.

Bored again? Go to Hampton Court and do the same.

Yes but not necessarily Kent. The sumer is no place for the city.

I was thinking the same on the way in this morning. It's too nice a day to be inside.

Yeah, catch a train to Sevenoaks (30 mins from Charing X) and ride some of the best hills the North Downs has to offer.

im sick of the sun. my arms, and neck are sun burnt from weekend's L2P ride. been sweating constantly for the last 5 days. on the train home last night, i saw people on the train wearing jackets and jumpers...whilst i was in shorts and sweating in my tee. wtf!?!? at least wind is a bit cooler here in london

i agree, get out of the city. or go to a park. on your way, ride at a slow 15kph while whistling to your fav tune. dip your toes in a pond/river, bring a book/ipod, bottle of red, baguette, butter, slices of saucisson, strawberry tart...done. find a nice shade tho ;)

Well sometimes local is best... Regents Park is on a par with Brighton Beach on a day like today, possibly better... I'm now fully lobsterised, oh yes.

Bizarre. Because the weather was so nice I did precisely what everyone else seemed to want to do and fucked off work at precisely 10.37am to go ride instead. No destination planned, started in Putney, wound up exactly where dogsballs is talking about on Hampstead Heath.

The place is unbelievable - like a 300-strong Chippendales act! Acres of ultra-buff, skimpily-clad tanned male flesh and the strong smell of coconut tanning oil. I'm pretty confident I'm heterosexual but it's still a very impressive sight. The missus has made me promise to take her there next time the sun's out - she can ogle them, they won't give her a second look.

Forecast is shite for tomorrow. Might surf gay porn instead.
