| | Bob Jackson Conversion 58cm edit: Ok, as some of you know, i bought the frame the other week for £85 on ebay. I've built it with a pretty newish wheelset, ambrosio hubs and rims, newish gatorskins. it has a headclip, which suggests the frame is very early 50s, if not earlier. i am using a quill stem with the headclip. disclaimers: this bike has been resprayed and decalled by bob jackson, but it is not a bob jackson. the fork appears to not be of the same origins as the frame. looking at the pencil thin stays and the really nice lugs it could be a holdsworth, or even a bates, but this is just speculation on my part. it is a very nice frame. it has had later cable bosses brazed on the top tube - i guess by bob jackson during the respray. slight dent in downtube. paintwork faded but lovely patina. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by pj (pj); 3rd July 2008 at 20:37..
