| | Maybe get some decent pictures if you wanna sell a bike...and definately don't post pictures of yourself sitting on it!! Jeeeez. And maybe, if you're asking that sort of money you might want to provide a proper spec...at least list the fucking dimensions. You really haven't thought it through properly. Oh, and it's your first post is it? Prepare yourself for a fucking lynch-mob. Ahhh... |

| | He didn't just buy it from BLB and tried to cycle away but failed after a few centimetres? I went to BLB today mind, and check out the Fuji Obey bike, fucking gorgeous, until I have a quick chuckle at the "made in tawian" sticker underneath the Obey logos on the headset. |

| | Did u get this from BLB? You do realise that it's not actually a Bianchi. It's just a cheap steel TT frame that has had the drop-outs swapped. I was there when they bought it off someone I knew. I was working for them when they got it re-sprayed. It was bought for £110 as a full bike including the Deore hubbed 650c on the front. I was going to buy it off them for £200 but it was in such bad condition.... looks nice with a re-spray! unfortunately it's only worth about £250-£300 built up... no way £650 when it is not a Bianchi! | | people keep bandying about this £250 figure for full builds. how does that work? let's say cheap and shit as it gets: frame - £70 (i.e the Bob J i got off ebay, not the Bob J i got off Bob J, which costs £340, or £400 depending where you get it) stem - £10 (cheapo moser i got from a box, not the cinelli that cost £20) bars - £15 (old alux madisons, not criteriums or nitto) BB - £15 (miche, not centaur or anythign slightly better) wheelset - £120 (OTP, and cheap even then, most people don't build wheels) seatpost - £10 (cheap alloy thing) saddle - £20 (not a rolls, or regal, or brooks, a veritable assripper) brake caliper - £15 (not a 105) lever - £15 (dirty harry) cable bits - £5 bar tape - £5 (not cinelli cork or fatwrap, nasty stuff) chainring - £20 (somethign mega shit, certainly not campag or sugino) cranks - £50 (see above) pedals - £10 even if you come in cheaper on the drivetrain, this £250 is a bit of a myth, and bikes sold for that are generally sold at a loss to the chap/lady who put it together. |
