I'm very unfit at the moment, and pathetic on outdoor tracks in the wind with any gearing over 80".

Don't want to see you financially crippled as well as physically ;)

Flowing dresses are likely to lead to me crashing when they blow up and reveal panty cleavage.

I think it was a friend of a friend turns out. She did die if it's the same person. If not then two people died on bikes that week :-(

That week his bro's best mate got kicked to death up North and his boss had a fit and ended up in a coma in New York. Shitty week.

I'm not totally sure, but a friend and work colleague of one of my good friends. I need to find out more but I haven't seen him to find out more since it happened, I found out through the grapevine about all the things that happened in that week.

Yup, I got told to get a front brake this morning, agreed and pushed off quick in case he got tickety. The commuters on Kentish town road in the mornings are gung-ho, I steer well clear of them at all times.

This happened to a woman like 2 mins from where I live(Dublin), 50 years old cycling to work a big Hannay truck(the ones that carry the industrial size recycling skips) turned onto her at the intersection. As far as I know she was stopped at the lights infront of the truck and he pulled off and just crushed straight over her. I was going by on the bus(second floor unfortunatly) and saw her, the bike was like a banana and she was worse. This is a truck route for the company and I have actually seen bigger trucks of theirs not even bothering to look up other than to see the green light, some havent even indicated.
I now mount the path on my way back from school turning this corner, the only place I ever do.

Has anybody seem the amount of HGV going through Dalston junction in the mornings these days. I understand their doing quite a bit of building work over there but the combination of bendy busses and dumper trucks is lethal quite frankly. I'm with JDB, don't fuck with trucks.

Gruesome!

I once saw a man fall from scaffolding, but it couldnt have been as bad as that.
Feel well bad about the woman riding peacefully along, (not like us reckless goons) and getting run over like that. How horrible, I almost got K.O'd on a dual carriage way like that by one of those enormous freight trucks. - it was daytime too, every vehicle was making space, then that behemoth of a truck almost sucks me into its wheels. Really shook me up, but I kept telling myself truck drivers are skilled and responsible, he saw me and assessed there was enough space. In reality I know that it almost brushed my elbow, and if it had done I wouldve fell right under its many many wheels.

a lorry holding straw bails skimmed me on a dual carriage way earlier in the summer, I felt the force push me as it came up then suck me as it came past. I remember being in that vigilant mode you get into when riding in harsh crosswinds, except this idiot's wheels were inches away and I had bits of straw in my face. What really did it was the fact that the road was completely quiet and the other lane was totally free.
