What does anyone think about Boris Johnson standing for mayor? I wouldn't care less except that being a (proper) cyclist himself I was wondering if he might be more inclined to improve facilities for cyclists more than mr ken.

yeah i think its a good thing due to him cycling.....it did make me think that maybe ken knew about boris's plans to run for mayor which encouraged him to jump on the cycling bandwagon so people would think ken was also pro cycling....it was justa thought

Are you serious? They give those voting forms to every illegal immigrant and their dog!
I don't vote. I used to but I'm not up with 'tics enough here or in Oz to make an informed descision. I'd rather not vote than vote for the wrong candidate.

Backwardation
You've got to be a celeb to get anywhere in this kind of personality contest. Love Ken or loathe him at least this will shake him up. Complacent commie little git.

I personally loathe him - the anti-semitism, the posturing with Venezuaelan leftists, inviting terrorism promoters as VIPs. Git. Plus of course talking the talk about cycling and actually doing nothing.

The only good thing he has done is bring Le Tour and help get the Olympics. And I question how much he had to do with it.

At least Boris has done something outside politics (albeit journalism). And who would you rather have a pint with?
