| Upcoming: Fixed #2 Launch Party, LFGSS Xmas Party |

| | Four years of riding fixed and still can't do a trackstand. Looking at videos and reading instructions isn't working for me, need someone who can do it to show me how and give me a bit of confidence. Friday is best for me as I'm working in K'bridge up till about 7.00 ish and central. Off on holiday next week but back at the end of July. |

Stef, when are you going to have your coming out party? All your misogynistic negative attitudes towards women show that you are obviously way more into men than women! Just come out of the closet then you can relax all the shit-talking about women and start just being able to be positive about men. Maybe you and AFDS dude can have your coming out party together? | |

| | ok so this should get organised for this week, weather is looking bad so probably best to try and find somewhere indoors or covered i think central is probably the best location, maybe somewhere close to central drinks although tricks that involve balance are hindered by alcohol so if anyone knows of a place which is quite large, covered this would be a good place to start |

| | i'm not looking for any exclusivity based on gender, just thought that if the girls are getting together then why not the boys at the same time? saves an evening with either partner out the house. as for the name, i don't really like the trixie dix or anything that goes along them (gender) lines, so how's about something like 'Trick Tuesday', kinda like Fast Friday. ... just a thought. |

| | I'm definitely up for this, and could come along this evening if it's dry and we can decide on a spot. by the way, are SPD pedals ruled out for trickery? most of the cool cats seem to have toe clips and straps? also, I'm currently running 48x16 (which the bike came with) should I go pick up an 18 tooth cog or something? |

| | Clips n straps are better for tricks n stuff as you can use the underside of the pedal and bail easier when learning stuff. And yeah get at least an 18t cog, the bigger the cog you get the easier youll find it to skid, wheelie, pop your front wheel up n stuff. Last edited by Conan; 8th July 2008 at 14:15.. |
