ZOMG Epic fashion disasters

Just been digging out old skate shoes and just found these in the back of the wardrobe. I rocked these around 2002 I think? What the hell was I thinking!!

They made a snowboard boot version of the D3 - it made the skate shoe look good, was so fat you couldnt get it in most bindings.

I had the black version of these! Cost bloody loads too. Looked great with a skirt - or so I thought...ugh. Hideous! (and to think I only managed to give them to charity in 2006, after languishing at the back of the wardrobe for 4 years)

Girls and big chunky skate shoes is a Baaad combo.

@ todd... I had blue/orange suede Ewing hi top's wish i still had em, they were amazing!

Emerica Marc Johnson's were my favorite ske shoe ever

They have hust r-issued the SLB 23's in some funky colurs, though they dont have the rubber ollie pad on the side that made the originals great so WOFTAM for skating in



still got 2 pairs of the originals in white suede with black sole, like the Ultimate Warrior they are the best there was, there is, or ever will be

First pair of skate shoes I ever had 87/88. Had to beg my mum to lend me money to get them. Before that I had cheapo shoes from K-mart. Used to think they were amazing. I remember the ankle section was solid. I spray painted them yellow a few years later. Half of it flaked off on the first use. My Mum & Dad thought I was fucking nuts.

1993 started dying my hair. Always peroxided to fuck first to get it mad bright and intense. Then either Pink hair/ Blue hair/ Green hair. Never mixed colours though. Was all about the roots coming through. Used to put glue in there too sometimes. WTF?
