How many bikes do you own?

I'd be interested to hear how many guys own more than one fixed gear and whether they both / all get used regularly? I go through phases of collecting them then selling them again because I think its a waste - and regretting it.
cheers
Jon

I have shinty-six bikes.

3 frames, enough parts to make up 2 bikes at any one time. I swap parts from one frame to the other every now and again. All fixies.

I buy and sell bikes all the time, never keep them for much more than a year..

my riding needs sometimes change, sometimes I just feel like a change..

at the moment I have two fixed wheel bikes, both get used regularly.

pomp for pub/work/locking up/short hop

wilson for long rides/nice rides/everything else

but neither are really suitable for the track, and this is something I want to address..

I can't justify a third fixed bike! but I fancy changing the wils for something more tracky..

also have a geared mtb 4x race bike, but I've ridden it once since I built it a few months ago, I think it might have to go to fund a geared road bike or nice track bike.

3 bikes is good for me, all different, otherwise one will always suffer and not get ridden, which is a shame.

oz: road, road, track, hardtail

The cuntster gets used for commuting while the other two gather dust.

1 x geared NTB (Handjob)
1 x fixed wheel (Condor)
1 x Old road (Titanium Raleigh)

It's about 2 bikes too many for the space i have and the general riding i do. I'm thinking about ditching the road and getting a touring/commuter (Crosscheck?)

guess the next question is. where do you store all your bikes?
have already difficulties with the two (fixed, road). space is the limiting factor for getting any more.

One braked fix, one brakeless, one lo-pro brakeless and the frame of one too perfect to use under the bed, sometimes i slide her out (she's in an open top box in bubble wrap), caress her tubes and decals and imagine i'm riding her. But then I think of all the bad things that could happen to her, and I slip her back into her safe under-bed haven. I call her RenshoFritzl.

The other problem is the time in maintenance, cleaning, oiling, pumping, riding, bullshitting, pimping, crashing, fixing, sportiving, posting, posing, buying, swapping, sellling, powdercoating, clear coating, Humbrolling, it's fucking never ending.

just stick to the oiling, bullshitting and riding then, it's much easier when you break it down to the essentials
