That bit of green at Kew bridge that we stopped at was right across the road from a pub - sounds like a good meeting place to start with.

were all going to be heading out to kew for the same time so surley it makes sense to meet in london then cycle out then in again ? rather than us all cycling out into the edge of the city on our own to meet up then cycle back into the city (where we have all just come from) as a group? or is that just me?

some people live in the west, other in the north, south and east so i don`t know, i might get the train to kew!! hahahaa

Just meet up in town around the John Snow, maybe pick-up some more riders, cycle en-masse out by the quickest route, meet some people at the pub in Kew, return via the bridges route.
Sorted.

It's just you. I'd be coming from the West so it'd be easy. Like, Bridges meant I'd ride across London, then back out and then back in and back out.
Seems fair it should go the other way too :P

How's about we extend the ride to the thames barrier?? That way we can get in the greenwich & woolwich foot tunnels

yep, and the dome - there's a pretty good cycle path going around there

(N.B Woolcwich foot tunnel is a bit further than the barrier but not much.

so for us south of the river types its

ride to the centre of town from t'south, ride back to the south then ride out east to the thames barrier, then ride south again
