How did you get measured for the custom fit?

i know... serious addiction. The blue one I ride the longest for about 3 years. So I guess am most attached to that. The red frame I bought from this really nice old guy who runs the track in Zurich. The Makino I am just getting used to.

Seen Tuesday 5pm ish in Cheltenham Train Station.

Geezer got off the Bristol train with a 2008 Langster fixed. I half want to snub you (for obvious reasons) and half want to say hello to only the fourth fixed wheel I've seen here.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess Dura-Ace seatpost, headset and BB to complete the group that the wheels and cranks have started. Hoshi bladed spokes to Araya 1W clinchers, Nitto Jag stem to B125s, Champ grips, MKS Royal Nuevo pedals with Toshi Doubles. HKK Vertex chain.

How many did I get right?

Could somebody explain to me the problem with having your saddle at a downward angle?
I've noticed a general concensus that it is "wrong" why? I like riding it that way.

Puts too much pressure on your wrists. Your forearms will hurt if you do a longer ride.

Your bars would have a longer top surface to them if they were swiveled up a bit too, but if you find them comfy like that then all power to ya.

With a saddle at that angle you will tend to slide forward, putting all the pressure on your soft undercarriage. This is bad. If you do manage to hold yourself up with your arms you will have fscking sore shoulders/arms as mentioned above. This is also bad. Maybe your arse is a funny shape though and this is optimal setup? :)

not very common I have been told but I don't really know too much about them. Just hope they won't skid through too quickley. They are more white on the side than the Rubinos which look quite cream actually.

Thanks for the photoshopping Tynan.
I am comfortable with the seat that way and I now have Nitto drops (instead of the sakae customs pictured) I think I have them a little straighter now (but to be honest I rarely ride on the drops)
