| | ![]() My first fix - bike found in a pile of rubbish outside a friend's house... Cleaned up, new (budget) wheels, scavenged brakes, seat, spds from other bikes, ebayed brake levers and seatpost (it had a 26.4, that's a 26.2 and it's still *very* tight), 86bcd chainring from Spa Cycles. Looks like shit, but it gets me about... Nb. yes, I know I should take the back brake off! All in good time! |

| | Its an old track frame with slightly younger forks, the forks that came with it aren't that pretty and you could fit your shoe in the the clearance. Having said that with a repray they might look ok. I spoke to the guy and although he built it as a track frame he put mud guard eyelets on for weekend riding, "we all did it back then." RPM 1 day ago quote is that a grease port in the head-tube? it is a grease port, the bottom brack was like a pomade factory. It's in bits again now, got some advice from carlos about how to do 1,678 coats of paint for $12! |

| | Here's another picture of my track now that it's got the bars sorted out, I'm rather pleased with it. I still want to fit it with a Miche Supertype seat post but have realised the frame takes a weirdo sized 30mm seat post, which might complicate matters. ![]() Sorry, didn't realise this picture would come out so titchy! |
